Three games for attempted to strike? WTF? Jose Alvarado only got two games and he did punch someone. If I am Schroeder's union rep, I'm pointing that out. Sounds like Luka didn't even get hit.
Big difference is Alvarado's infraction was during the height of a game while Schroeder's was more of a plot to throw down with someone well after a game had ended. Isaiah Stewart got 3 games a few years back for doing similar to Schroeder here with Drew Eubanks. Main difference is it was before the game instead of after. The league doesn't seem to tolerate events in arenas they don't sell tickets to.

I suspect there is more to the story, but this is my reaction as well. IMO, Luka crossed the line with those comments attributed to him. Those are fighting words, attempting to incite. These things happen, but a player should know, he is likely to get a hostile response in return.

Nope - KD is a drag on the court. And makes Booker a bad playerI'd take KD back for let's say, Richards and maybe throw in Allen. But we need another first round pick to taker on that salary.
Colin seems to have hit a wall offensively. Lowering his minutes will help him and the team.
He is being keyed in on more now.

It's a long season. I know he is not a rookie, but he is a rookie when it comes to playing major minutes, so it's normal to hit the "rookie wall." He'll be fine.
Luka always runs his mouth and finally it caught up to him. League’s golden boy needs to be protected.
Yeah, but can you really blame him? Doncic has probably the most punchable face in the league. His smirk is next level.
I can't blame him at all. I want to punch Luka also. Maybe Schroeder and I can work out a deal. For the money he lost in the suspension, I would have done it before getting my ass handed to me. Luka is still a 6'6" pro athlete after all.
Maybe between the two of us we'd have a chance.
Correct - so having another option to take minutes and scoring will help Colin and the team until he gets his legs back.

I really don't Collin has hit a wall. It's more about working through a shooting slump and regaining his confidence. He does so many other things to help the Suns win. As an example, he only had 2 points against the Wizards (0-6) but had 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. I don't have any doubt his shooting will come around if the Suns remain patient.
This is a player on his first standard NBA contract and thrust into a starting role.

Schroder and Doncic's beef go way back to FIBA. Schroder might seem to be a scrub in the NBA, but he's a legend in FIBA play and Schroder's Team Germany has owned Luka's Team Slovenia more than once on the way to a championship.
