Michael Bidwill wants nothing less than to run it back with Kyler next year. But would assume he’s got people telling him that there’s a good chance he might not have any better options.

Gonna be an interesting offseason for sure.
Of course. Unless there was some mathematical way to not have to pay Kyler , Bidwill was NEVER going to pay Kyler to walk away.
The same could be said about this staff.
Kyler’s injury and overall injuries will be what the press conferences will be all about.
PEW! PEW!
Here we go….

Google AI says "solid starter"

Round 1 38%
Round 2 15.6%
Round 3 13%
Round 4 8%
Round 5-7 3%

Now that isn't a pro bowl level player. That is just someone who starts for a few years.

To get to that you are:

Top 5 pick: 61.2%
Top 10 pick: 56%
Picks 11 - 32 44.2%
QBs outside of round 1 13.3%

And to paint that into further perspective, Murray would be considered a "Hit" so to get to really elite the numbers would taper off incredibly.
Exactly. So listing outliers in later rounds is kinda really arguing against waiting to find your gem later.

Almost 100 pages added in a season that he only played 5 games in. Remarkable. Im sure lots of opinions have been altered.

“…The Raiders have ample salary cap room, and Murray’s exciting playing style could receive a warm welcome in Las Vegas.” As a Raider fan, Balderdash.

Though I root for the Cardinals, I don’t want to see Murray wearing Silver and Black. It’s just a rumor.:thewave:

There will be a day when Kyler can't hurt us anymore.

But it is not this day.

I'm not entirely convinced he's gone this year.

I remember last off season getting lambasted for suggesting trading Murray for Trevor Lawrence.
Was told Lawrence is terrible and why would anyone want him.

Go Kyler.

There were some making that argument THIS season.

I’m not defending Kyler here, but Petzing isn’t changing Trevor’s life/career like Coen has.

Murray defrauded Bidwill. No way Murray is back. If Bidwill were a gangster Murray would be wearing cement shoes for showing up Bidwill and making him look stupid next to his old man which is hard to believe is possible. Did everyone forget a back up out played Murray? Zero leadership is enough reason to not want Murray back.

Murray cost this team almost a decade of competitiveness. He undid all the good that was done by Warner and Palmer. The financial hit put the Bidwill ownership at risk. I would hate to see the result if Bidwill asked for a new stadium financed by the public now. Even in ten years the Murray debacle will reverberate with casual fans. STL fan erosion didnt occur in a single year. It was gradual over time that was a result in non-competitiveness. The winning percentage in STL is higher then in AZ. Bill Bidwill said all he needed to win was a stadium.

Kingsbury of the spread and run and shoot convinced Bidwill that Murray was his QB. Yet by the time Kingsbury was fired he was running a run first conventional offense. Kingsbury brought in the players Murray wanted including a former team mate. Why did he give up on an offense tailored for Murray? Why repeat that mistake? What better coach to run a spread or run and shoot?
