Ugh. I don't know why you are locked into taking a QB at #5 come hell or high water.
What are our other options for our 2026 QB1 ajcardfan?

There are not good ones. Either give up a massive trade package to get Mendoza. Or, go for a stopgap free agent, a draft pick from round 2 on, and hope you catch lightning in a bottle. But don't make it worse by locking into a mediocre QB this year when next year's class will be tremendously deep. What are our other options for our 2026 QB1 ajcardfan?
Simpson will be a 27’ prospect anyway.I will probably get ratio’d for saying this, but I feel it was a bad game to evaluate Simpson. He was overwhelmed by a truly dominant pass rush and in every replay his receivers were not getting open.
Not sure he’s the guy, but it didn’t diminish him as a prospect for me. He may come into the league with the “can’t win the big game” moniker though.
IDK, he appears to be a top 10, possibly top 5 pick this year.Simpson will be a 27’ prospect anyway.
it was a pretty good new years lolBooksOrangePlanet??? What the heck BGT?! LMAO!
Mucho cerveza!it was a pretty good new years lol
Watching him reminds me of another qb that wears the number 1…ugh.With the fifth pick in the 2026 draft, the Arizona Cardinals select, Dante Moore, QB, University of Oregon.
Carson Beck at 32What are our other options for our 2026 QB1 ajcardfan?
at least take a swing right??I haven't watched Moore a ton but he looks the part.
My thing is, if Mendoza or Moore is your guy, go up and get him. If you have to overpay, overpay. If that's the guy and you hit, there is no overpay.
It's worth it.
I was thinking about Beck as an option as they were beating OSU.Carson Beck at 32
Alabama QB’s suck in the NFL. I would stay completely away. Same with several other big name programs like Ohio State, Notre Dame, etc…new year's day game
#1 indiana vs #9 alabama
i think we can all agree we legit might be drafting one of these qbs - it will come down to more than who wins - individual performance and draft position will be at play
im on record as a mendoza guy but if simpson shows out and we can get him - that's where i can see him sitting behind and learning from brissett
Negative. I’m from NM and this guy and his family are a bunch of clowns. We could always draft another shorty QB, Pavia from Vandy lol. If one shorty QB doesn't get the job done, draft another one, I mean, we are the Cardinals at the end of the day lol.
So you're saying some s***** team will give him a shot to start in the NFL.Agreed, but those are Jacoby Brissett garbage-time numbers. The game was over by that point.
I think he's already done a very good job of showing people his true colors.Negative. I’m from NM and this guy and his family are a bunch of clowns.
I would rather get Beck in round 2 than get Simpson or Moore at 4 or 5.I was thinking about Beck as an option as they were beating OSU.
That barely had anything to do with Beck.I was thinking about Beck as an option as they were beating OSU.
Just an option considering the QB's in this draft, not saying he did anything special but remembering he was once a talent at Georgia. That barely had anything to do with Beck.
He barely played after that. He was ass before that.reports out now simpson got a cracked rib when he fumbled in the first half and tried to tough it out
I don’t see why some people are enthralled with Beck??? My son in law’s family are all UGA fans. They cheered the day Beck left. He was never a talent at UGA. I have watched him closely the last 2-3 years. I’m not at all impressed. He will not succeed in the NFL, if he even has an NFL career.Just an option considering the QB's in this draft, not saying he did anything special but remembering he was once a talent at Georgia.
