Season = draft.

Sorry, I'm not actually excited for this either.

I'm excited for the ways we will screw the cap with releases, bad trades, and bad FO decisions.

I'm excited for drafting someone who doesn't fit the team, is bad health, or is a generational talent that can't adjust to the NFL. Or is injured in TC. Or, or, or.

I'm excited for the inevitable rise in season ticket prices that makes me rethink the last 2 season tickets I have...went from 8 to 5 to 4 to 2. And rhe last 2 are the ones I watched the NFC Championship game from, but don't care to go even there anymore.

I'm excited for another season of absolute inept ownership, coaching, and talent that gives up halfway through the season.

I would love to post more here. But I'm literally too excited to talk about this team.

It’s like going to the casino. I compare it to 90% of NFL teams are playing the dollar slot with the maximum bet. They’re hoping to hit the 1m bonus jackpot.
We play the nickel slots.

Until that changes we will be handed the bullcrap. We’ll sign a couple of players coming off injury or a down year. They’ll tell us to look at said player 2 years ago. We won’t sign the best o-lineman available. We’ll sign the 8th best. They will hope Will Hernandez will be back healthy.

They will try to pump us up with how we’re counting on Connor returning to form. I love the guy but at 31 years old coming off a leg injury and putting all our eggs in his badket is fools gold. If that doesn’t happen they will try to convince us Benson is going to have a break out year.

They will try to convince us MHJ is going to take a huge step up in year three. They will hope Zay Jones will return.

They will try to convince us all the injuries was the real problem. I’m sure it played a role. They will try to convince us how important continuity, culture and leadership is.

And finally we will operate 20m under the cap. They will continue to try to hit that nickel slot. They will try to convince us they are doing everything possible to improve the roster to compete. What this organization is great at is selling snake oil.

Well said.

Big Red has been good at selling snake oil over the years but that is coming to an end.

Empty promises lead to empty seats.

We play the nickel slots, and we only start with $1.

This is both epically hilarious and sad at the same time. This organization has done a number on us.
