While it certainly could be an ugly blowout - the Cards have nothing at stake now but pride, while pressure is on the Rams to keep winning. Could be yet another competitive game into the 4th quarter until the Cards find one of their textbook ways to piss it away. 31-27 Rams, after the Cards go 3-out on 3 runs off-tackle with a 27-24 lead with 3 minutes left, followed by a shanked 17-yard punt, setting up the Rams' winning drive.

Considering going to the game Sunday - think tickets will get cheaper closer to gametime? Tickets are fairly cheap now, but not as cheap as they were for the Jags.

I think they're called thongs or T-backs, but why is that relevant??

Haven't you ever heard of the story of David and Goliath?

"David and Goliath is a famous biblical story (1 Samuel 17) where a young, seemingly weak shepherd boy, David, defeats the giant Philistine champion, Goliath, using only a slingshot and faith in God, becoming a symbol of the underdog triumphing over overwhelming odds, emphasizing trust in divine help over physical strength. The narrative highlights courage, faith, and how God uses the humble and unlikely to achieve great victories"

Heel injuries aren't very common in the NFL, in my recollection. I'm wondering what kind of injury can occur to the heel that doesn't involve the Achilles tendon?!

First thing that came to mind is a fracture. Played on (a hairline) one for about a year and felt like it took just as long to heal. Quite favorable over anything related to Achilles though. Either way, this dude ain't getting an Ironman award any time soon.

My wife had a fracture in her heel and it took forever to heal (many months). Her orthopedic doctor told her that the blood flow to the heel is very poor and injuries to this part of the body take an inordinately long time to heal.

Hopefully, Marvin's injury is just a bruise and not a fracture. Not sure about the recovery time for a bruise.

Planter Facilitates can cause it too. They said they were trying different gels in the last game, which leads me to assume it is more likely planter facilitates related than Achilles.

I have that in one of my feet and it's really painful

I wear inserts to ease the pain and it helps a lot
