We're eating that contract regardless.

That idiotic extension by Kiem...

I don't think coaches were interested in trying to fix Kyler 3 years ago, currently I think that notion is preposterous.

And if some coach DOES show up in Bidwill's office, thinking that he can turn Kyler into a title caliber QB, worthy of what he's being paid, then I really don't want to hire that guy because he's either a snake oil salesman or a fool.
Well said!

You mean the AJ Greene that failed to turn around and clinch a sure win?

In the season, where people were talking about Kyler being an MVP candidate?

You and the rest of the KDS continued to push this narrative that Kyler has never accomplished anything and has been a low average quarterback for seven years, which is demonstratively false.

He's absolutely not accomplished anything and has been poor to mediocre for 7 years, apart from 7 games in 2021.

Just to throw water on the Vikings hopes.

The Vikings are already between $25m and $35m over the cap next year. Depending which site you use. I'm not sure how they take on Kyler.

I don’t think KM is done - even though it’s laid on as thick as possible, I thought the defense might take a year to gel, but this bad, injuries to backs and everybody really sucked.

Kyler, if traded isn’t going to a “ winning” team. He is not going to light up New York ( that city will eat him alive). The Titans? The Saints? The Browns?
We all know you can’t put the team on Kyler’s shoulders.
Do you really believe that only 4-5 teams are in need of a starting QB in the NFL? Have you watched the league this year? The NFL is in dire straits when it comes to quality play, and especially at the QB position. It’s far easier to list the teams that have their QB situation resolved than those who don’t.

I know you’re doing whatever you can’t to distract from the obvious lack of sustained success promised by MOJG if we just believed hard enough. This is just factually inaccurate.

The most generous reading of QB uncertainty in the NFL (age + injury + lackluster play) are:

Miami
New York Jets
Pittsburgh
Cleveland
Indy
Jville
Vegas
Minny
Nawlins
Atlanta
Arizona

That’s 11 teams. Two are playoff-bound despite QB uncertainty. Maybe three!

And gave him a dog crap oline and OC who is absolutely horrendous. It’s all K1s fault though even if JG has a better win % with him than without him.
Absolutely correct. We drafted Murray in 2019 & didn’t draft a first round OLineman until 2023. And none since then. Not at all Murray’s fault that he got drafted by an inept organization. Nothing but pain for us moving forward when he goes to a team that will win and the naysayers on this board will be forced to eat crow once again.

“Deserves?” I kinda feel like this franchise and Kyler DESERVE each other. Poor effort, lack of self awareness, pouting, injury-prone, el foldo goes nicely with stupid organizational decisionmaking, poor facilities, and egomaniacal ownership. Like peanut butter and jelly . . . if the sandwich had been sitting outside in the Arizona sun for four months.
Imo.

Kyler Murray & the Arizona Cardinals are what would have happened if Kyler stayed at Texas A&M in college.

Socially unaware player who was with a coach in Sumlin who was rather meh and so was the program at the time.

Can he find his OU in the NFL? Maybe. However, Kyler and his dad were initially trying to go Texas who had an incompetent HC and program as well. Texas told him no. Which ended up doing him a favor he was forced to go backup Baker at OU.

He needs luck in finding the absolute perfect situation. He's not a program builder. He needs a team who only needs an upgrade at QB.

We’ve had far too many injuries to have success in terms of wins and losses. The fact that we’re in almost every game is proof that we have built enough depth that the team is closer than the naysayers like yourself want to admit. We’re a young team with plenty of potential if we can somehow stay healthier. Yes, we should fire the OL coach, possibly the OC, and even the DL coach. Firing MOJG won’t resolve anything.

What quality coach would agree to come here and be stuck with KM. We could get someone but I seriously doubt it would be anyone you would want.
So, you mean a quality coach like Sean Payton, who openly lobbied for the job and how he'd use K1? I would honestly think a quality coach, with a great offensive mind would want to come and see if they can fully tap the potential of Murray. BA was kinda that way....he could work with someone like Luck, for sure, but he also had a thing for cast off veteran QBs (Palmer was his greatest with BA). I think someone like McCarthy wouldn't mind giving Murray a shot for a year.

I have zero opinion either way, personally...He can go or be kept. Doesn't matter to me.
