I think he is an ideal WR3. He can play outside and in the slot. He can block. He does not have the vertical element to open up the offense in 12 personnel.

wilson went for 70 yards in the first half - you don't think the whiners went and adjusted for that? they gave the cb safety help - they tried to press him at the los - no problem - let's go for another 115 yards IN THE SECOND HALF
some will point out it's only one game (his name is k9) but i say the man's only had one game as the #1 with a competent quarterback - and i saw what i saw - one of the most impressive performances at wide receiver ive ever seen from a cardinal
we need a qb now - not a rookie - and we need to keep brissett long term if he agrees to still be a back up - he might not - brissett might be the guy going forward - i bet wilson hopes so

Never stopped believing in his upside. Trey is our #1 and both Wilson/MHJ are pretty good 2/3’s in whatever order you prefer.

Not to be dismissive, but who cares? Even including his total outlier game, he's averaging 41 yards a game. He's at best a 3rd wr on a good team. He's JAG.

He’s a third best pass catcher on a handful of playoff teams.
Loved that he needed to come out and play strong, and he did. If we ever go to the playoffs, I now feel he will be able to be one of the players that elevates their game versus shrinking in the moment.
