The difference is JJ wasn't taken 1 overall, and I doubt the Vikings put up with it for 7 years.

What's strange to me about McCarthy is this is who he was in college - dink and dunk based off a strong run game. I never saw the NFL talent.

A lot of Vikings fans grasping at straws to defend their QB for yesterday’s win. I don’t think he has the talent to succeed, but he’s at least got energy on the sidelines and in the locker room. He’s passionate about the game and being out there with his team. Maybe a good backup down the line.
