Last week the Ravens violated the NFL's policy by inaccurately listing Lamar Jackson as having practiced in full on Friday, implying that he'd be playing vs. the Bears. Florio calls this a "mistake (honest or otherwise)."
This week the Cardinals have been listing Murray as "limited". Gannon has said that they are "preparing Murray to start". But apparently in Florio's world, no player has ever been day-to-day or truly questionable to start four days ahead of a game. "Surely, the Cardinals have a pretty good idea as to which quarterback will play. They're doing what they can, apparently, to keep that a secret." OK!
"As long as the Cardinals don’t list Murray as a 'full' participant if he doesn’t take every first-team rep in practice, they’ll be in full compliance with the rules." So the Ravens made a "mistake", but the Cardinals, by fully complying with NFL policy, are being deliberately deceptive?!
What's the alternative, idiot? Are they supposed to make a definitive statement on Thursday about whether Murray will start on Monday, which could turn out to be incorrect?

I did actually read it more as a critique of the rule and not the Cardinals, though I imagine he LOVED being able to use the Cards as his example of why the rule sucks, in his opinion. I found it very interesting that he (and the league, apparently) think that full disclosure is important in light of the increased gambling that happens on the sport now.
If I'm a team, of course I'm going to manipulate full compliance with the rules to provide any, albeit most likely a tiny, competitive advantage. Its an interesting push/pull when you consider the leagues desire to maintain the perception of keeping the integrity of the game untainted due to their full tilt acceptance of gambling.... Kind of weird.

It would be nuts for him to be out a month with a foot injury… after a football hit him in the facemask.
I'm not sure why people keep trying to link those, but he hurt his foot prior to that. The movement from that play tweeked it even more.
Plenty to criticize Kyler over, no need to make stuff up
I mean... the rule is full disclosure and transparency... the only thing that can legitimately be criticized is the fact that the Ravens' lied on their injury report and listed Jackson as a full participant, when he wasn't - for which they were fined $100K. The Cardinals are fully disclosing that Murray has been limited in practice. So... why even bring them up?

lol… the movement from getting hit in the face with the ball tweaked some foot injury that only certain people here claim to have happened earlier in the game? Even if he did injure himself earlier in the game, he STILL somehow injured his foot by getting hit in the face with the football. That’s beyond weird… especially to possibly keep him out a month.
Movement that he wasn't prepared for - if you watch the video, his foot caught on the turf.
