And it's not like SF and SEA ran us off the field.

I think we're all 1000% right to be worried about the shaky draft pick and FA performance through four games.

Alls I'm saying is the die has not yet been cast on this critical year for the rebuild.

Don’t tell anyone that they are too focused on our defense being good (it isn’t) and our oline being good (it isn’t)

6 wins is what I am seeing out of this team with everyone being blown out at the end of the year.

We aren’t going to the playoffs this season.

We have 2nd stringers as WRs and at running back and oline.

This team is officially a disaster.

I would say it represents progress on the rebuild but not success. I’ve been consistent that making the playoffs by itself is not a certification that the build is complete or successful.

I’ll state this clearly: a playoff win or a division title is a full validation of the rebuild process. A wild card and first round exit is reason enough to keep leadership around.

Six wins or less and everyone should be on the hot seat.

Maybe he figures if I can make this team even semi competitive, then other owners, knowing how Bidwil is, will entertain hiring me as their new GM. Wouldn't be the first time someone took a job to use it as a stepping stone to something better.

if the above was his plan, than I think it only cements himself as a kind of an idiot. Who has done that and moved on to greater pastures from the Cards as a GM? This seems like a place HC and GM careers go to die, not rise from the ashes.

Graves, Keim, Ferguson… did any of those guys ever get a second shot after flaming out here as GM? Might be wrong but I don’t think so.

And with Coaches? Stallings… college, never pro. Bugel? Raiders for one painful season.. and it was the Raiders, so… not really. Buddy Ryan… nope. Tobin? Nope. Green? Nope. Wiz? Can’t remember… did he ever get one more HC gig?

Arians is the only one whoever came out of Arizona smelling like a rose and ever held the top job again.

Presupposing a playoff birth and 10 wins, yes, I think the rebuild would be successful, even if we got thrashed in the playoff game.

The potential qualifying factor for me would be we might be in a murderers row of a division. That would make us achieving the 10-win plateau a little more laudable. I think Monti then goes all in on offense in the following offseason and we come back even better in 2026.

The five game stretch following tomorrow, IND/GB/DAL/SEA/SF might determine our fate.

1-4 (or worse) through those five and we're done.

3-2 (or better) and I really like your chances to cash that +140 ticket.

But 2-3 would leave us at 5-5 (I've got tomorrow's game in the win column already because I like to tempt fate) and still in "maybe" land.

You might be right. I admit there's a universe where this team wins six this year, and I agree with you with about the WR room and the o-line (overall). We still have Big Play Trey though, and he can carry some.

And I think the defense might be a little better than you're giving it credit for.

For example, even though SEA outplayed us, we could beat SF at home.

Overall I just think it's too early to start drawing conclusions either way 602 Native.

the vast majority of nfl GM's are one and done regardless of their success... Monti took this job for the simple reason that he may have never gotten another chance to be a GM

The small person has shown he can win when there is talent around him.

MO has not put reliable talent on this team in the three years he’s been GM. I fully believe this team is worst than the one last season.

A quarter of the season is pretty much gone. We have seen what this team is. A team that can beat really bad teams. Lose against mid team and probably get blown out against great teams.

We haven’t played a great team yet.

I hope I’m totally wrong but seeing the league so far we are nowhere near the top.
