There are times when you have to body catch and times when you have to extend. All WR's do both.

I'm not concerned about Marv being a body catcher. That was definitely an issue with Isabella in that he wanted to catch everything in a cradle.

We've seen Marv make great catches with his hands.

yeah, when the ball arrives about six and a half feet high and 2 feet out in front of him he extends just fine....having to stop for the ball seems to be an issue for him...stopping or slowing seems to throw off his tracking.
I imagine if we had a QB who lead his receiver and threw on time Marv would be a 1500 yard guy. But he was absolutely a poor choice to pair with this particular QB in this particular offense.

Yeah looking at the video it was more of a mocking motion:

Kind of funny actually.
Our skill player one and skill player 2, QB and WR, both sucked gigantic sacks on that play. garbage throw, garbage attempt at a catch.

Yet Harrison never exhibited these issues at OSU. Hard to make a case the NFL is tougher, since he wasn’t covered on the big drop. It’s more a question of how he’s gone backwards in exhibited skills since he got to AZ.

He looked like he was phoning it in the second half of his senior year, including some bad drops. It was oft overlooked.

These issues were noticed by scouts. Its nothing new. MHJ is an extremely hard worker and had access to NFL level advice from his dad. My concern is MHJ might have already hit his ceiling as a player as a sophmore in college. He broke out at such a young age that scouts expected him to just keep getting better, but that might be hard if he really did come into the league doing everything right.

I honestly don’t know what you do with him. I don’t think you can sit him down like the Chargers did with Quentin Johnson.

All these wideouts are replacement level. Good job Monti.

No one can convince me he was a good choice. I know I pounded the table for him, but I was wrong. Dead wrong. Nabors is the clear choice in hindsight.

Honestly I’m not sure I’ve seen any skills of his that are plus level since he’s gotten here. Just a slow soft WR with bad hands.
And what sucks is I can’t even blame Monty pretty much every expert in the world said that he was a pure fire sure thing, and every single Cardinals fan was jumping with joy when we drafted him….. It’s literally mind-boggling.

I absolutely can blame Monti, just like I can blame Keim though I loved the Simmons pick at the time. If you make the wrong pick, it doesn't matter if it appeared obvious at the time. You're the GM and you have to own it. Perk of the job.
