No one is scared of this passing game and now no one is scared of this running game.
I'm scared of both.

A better #2 with deep speed would be nice but we do have a top five TE.my favorite point to revisit:
much of the Marv spotlight is because he showed up day 1 as the No. 1 WR with a no. 2 and no.3 with thin resumes. So much pressure and defensive attention.
i spent all offseason wanting a WR 2 that made defensive coordinators say "im not sure my #2 corner can handle that guy".
Today, I think they are comfortable with the #2 corner alone on Mike Wilson.
Is Wilson even the #2? I see 3 TEs or 2 TEs and #17 out there. I don’t even know 17’s name, but he’s getting more snaps at WR than Wilson.my favorite point to revisit:

I hear there is a snap counts thread available if you want to know the answers to your questions. Is Wilson even the #2? I see 3 TEs or 2 TEs and #17 out there. I don’t even know 17’s name, but he’s getting more snaps at WR than Wilson.

Here is some interesting facts from his college days and comments by him.
Marvin Harrison Jr. had an exceptionally low drop rate at Ohio State, with Pro Football Focus (PFF) crediting him with only three drops on 118 targets over his career, resulting in a
3.8% drop rate. This reflects his reputation as a sure-handed and reliable receiver during his time with the Buckeyes.
Breakdown of his Ohio State drop rate:
Harrison Jr. was known for his disciplined route running and strong hands, which contributed to his ability to consistently secure the ball. He even held himself to a high standard, stating, "If it's an incomplete pass, it's a drop for me. Whether I touch it or not. Every ball thrown my way needs to be a completion"
- Targets: 118
- Drops: 3
- Drop Rate: 3.8%
Sounds like AI math to me. We are doomed.how does 3 out of 118 equal 3.8?
Maybe OSU math classes are overrated also.how does 3 out of 118 equal 3.8?
How does the son of a hall of fame wide receiver not know that?Holy crap, how the hell is he trying to catch that?!? Has no one ever taken the time to teach MHJ proper hand placement on a catch??? I hadn’t noticed that in real time. My 10 year olds in flag football knew how position their hands to catch more effectively than that.
very trueA better #2 with deep speed would be nice but we do have a top five TE.
Right? I look at that attempt to catch it and think “did he have a stroke in the middle of the play that prevented his brain from talking to his hands?” Seriously, WTAF?How does the son of a hall of fame wide receiver not know that?![]()
Ditto.I’m still stunned at how bad this guy’s been. Was so jacked when we got the chance to draft him.
I’m still trying to figure out why the hell he jumped on the wide open play tight before trying to catch it.Right? I look at that attempt to catch it and think “did he have a stroke in the middle of the play that prevented his brain from talking to his hands?” Seriously, WTAF?

national game - announcers will 100% be mentioning his dropsies and compare him to other young receivers - primary wide receivers are supposed to want the ball and all the smoke - will it be charmin or marvelous on thursdayI'd like to caveat these recent drops by reminding everyone of the great catches he had vs LA and Miami last year.
And I dont want to pile blame on Kyler (cause there is a thread for that).
However, you know the chemistry is bad when he arm punts this pass. Yes he should catch it. Yes he's worried about contact. Yes he's having confidence issues.
Still K1 is the more experienced and better player today. So I expect him to help his struggling young player out by not waiting an extra beat for him to have to slow down to catch it. That should have been an easy TD, but Kyler doesnt let it rip to MHJ like he does with Trey.
Now the question of if he gets hawked by Fred Warner is another topic.
Even this pass. Have some confidence to give him some confidence. Why is this such an underthrow limiting him to run after the catch.

So that caveat works for receivers, but not quarterbacks?I'd like to caveat these recent drops by reminding everyone of the great catches he had vs LA and Miami last year.
this is how much you get to read before hitting the paywall...This article by Greg Moore in the AZ Republic says it all. Bench him!
So that caveat works for receivers, but not quarterbacks?
Was just about to post this my friend. So that caveat works for receivers, but not quarterbacks?
I still feel like the kid will turn it around, but he’s no doubt killing this team right now. Knowing JG, I doubt if we try to force the ball to him, but the Cardinals need to do something that will build up MHJ’s overall confidence.I’m still stunned at how bad this guy’s been. Was so jacked when we got the chance to draft him.
No different than chastising MHJ for dropping a pass, but excusing Kyler for missing a wide open receiver. Goes both ways.So that caveat works for receivers, but not quarterbacks?
