The coaches tried their hardest to lose the first 2 games and they successfully lost this one. They don't seem to understand their own fault of becoming way too conservative on both sides of the ball when they have a lead. There is no NFL team that can't get into FG range in the blink of an eye. Throwing downs away to get SF to burn their timeouts was the most ******** wuss move ever. Play to win the game. Get first downs.

It was on the coaching. Conservative play calling and then having a long 3rd and 9 pass play? Yes, catch the fing ball but also play like you want to win.
Like every game so far this season.
man Idk, it feels like they pulled an “ASU” by losing a game they couldn’t afford to lose…unless something drastically changes this team is dead in the water. Just doesn’t feel realistic for them to be something much more than what we’ve witnessed for 3 games.

Have no problem with the end of game calls.
Catch the ball and it's game over.
Jones didn't, the Cards lost. Play calling wasn't the issue at all on that drive.

When you put yourself in those situations, it's on the play calling. You can't turtle for most of the game and then expect to be able to throw it around the field, especially in key situations.

agree.
But I don't think the last drive play calling was bad. Got them to burn their TOs and could make a 1st down to close it out with a catch.
