I like this. He worked his way back and the Cards seem to have bad luck all the time. Could add some much needed depth.

are you being serious? He's not even going to start for the Cardinals. So, the Cards are on that list of having 2 guards better. As are about 31 other teams.
No, he didn't kick my dog but he's a dime a dozen depth signing. It's good for depth and familiarity but he's going to very minimal impact on the win total.
The systemic shortage of quality O-linemen in the league disqualify this statement.
Hernandez ranked as the 23th best guard in the league per pff.

Will Hernandez has been one of our top 2 offensive Linemen for the last couple seasons..his loss was immediately noticed last season when he got hurt.
The ONLY reason he is not listed as our starter right this very moment is because even though he got medical clearance the staff wants to be certain he is game ready before throwing him in there. But once they are sure...whoever is at RRG loses their job.

Doesn’t matter what Will’s ranking as a OG league wise. He was the best OG we had last year.
When he was injured our running game never recovered from his loss.

He never played better than he did at the start of last season. He was moving people around. He will be starting sooner rather than later.

All guards.
Ranked 9th on RG.
For transparency - filtered everyone less than 200 snaps out. Could filter out an all-pro guard playing in 1 game and the back-up that played well for one drive. Vries is still on the list, though

That’s what I’ve been saying. Dime a dozen signing. Not ripping on him but, regardless of last years PFf meaningless ratings, he’s just a guy, and a replacement level player.
Brandon Scherff is older but he’s been a much better player than Will and he’s out there.
I’ll just quit replying and say great signing!! High demand FA re-ups with Cards.

Hernandez made it clear in his Week 2 press conference that he had no desire to go elsewhere. He always expected to return to AZ.
