Jerry Jones on Cowboys docking Trevon Diggs' pay: He didn't earn it; he didn't come
The Cowboys confirmed that they have enforced the de-escalator clause in Trevon Diggs' contract, lowering the cornerback's base salary from $9 million to $8.5 million, because he didn't rehab enough at the team facility.sports.yahoo.com
This is such a massive departure from the days when jerry max paid everybody and arranged for local businesses to take up the slack with endorsement deals.
kinda wonder what happened behind the scenes ..the league never openly did anything...but suddenly all the extra curriculars just stopped,...and the cowpokes fell off a cliff..they havent sniffed a playoff win in how long now?...and now they are doing things like this....
watch, next year jerry is gonna make the guy with the Nike endorsement get shoes for the whole team...and the guy with Gatorade will have to supply sideline hydration.
I imagine @Cheesebeef will be happy to see this...out of all the teams that could draw attention away from the Redbirds for being a cheap low budget franchise...by gawdalllllmighty the cowboys were the best choice!!!
well, I guess they won a WC game back in 2022...but I think thats the only win since we stomped them in 98
