Minus the quarter ending three, Fleming has looked lost all game.
Unfortunately true. The St. Joe competition level may be an issue.Minus the quarter ending three, Fleming has looked lost all game.

Not me. He's 18, and he's a center. Centers don't have to do nearly as much. He just needs some time to develop. This is Fleming's first summer league game. Khaman worries me more.

His athleticism or lack thereof is what concerns me, not his play.
Yup. Maluach doesn’t have good enough handles to do what he’s trying to do in summer league thus farDunn looking good. I think he is making a jump this year.
Maluach using his loose handle too much.
What made you think he was particularly athletic? You could clearly see in his college highlights he wasn't.His athleticism or lack thereof is what concerns me, not his play.
Dunn is only one showing any game tonight. They all stink thus far.Oso looking rough tonight too.
Guys you were expecting waaay too much from a very raw freshman. Hopefully this will allow you to recalibrate expectations for the regular season. Maluach likely isn’t even the backup to Williams to start the season. This is Fleming's first summer league game. Khaman worries me more.
He’s not unathletic, he’s as I described, like a young deer. Kind of awkward and still figuring out his body. They have him playing far from the basket right now which isn’t doing him any favors as it accentuates his still raw skills. His athleticism or lack thereof is what concerns me, not his play.
Depends what you define athletic as. I don't consider anybody that doesn't have at least a 35 inch vert as athletic. He’s not unathletic, he’s as I described, like a young deer. Yeah no way it works.Maluach and Oso sharing the court is a recipe for disaster on offense and defense. Oso can't shoot, Maluach has to play outside or clog the inside. On defense they aren't much better as Oso is far too used to being the C on the floor and it looks like a broken zone out there.
It’s all relative. He’s a 7’2 center. I’d say he’s athletic for his size.Depends what you define athletic as. I don't consider anybody that doesn't have at least a 35 inch vert as athletic.
