They said the Kings had only been together two weeks before summer league.

The Suns haven't played inspired under DeMarre Carroll.
They looked really good the first game. This one they aren't as agressive on D as they were the first two.

I don't think sitting some of the rookies a game helped.

CJ Huntley has looked good as a two player for us in G League. They were talking about games with him and Brea in G League, and I might go to a game to watch those two light it up in a G League game.

Yeah, we don't have a true PG on the SL roster to control things, that's for sure.
Our point guard got owned. IDK how many turn overs he got. Some seemed like back to back to back attempts to get the ball into the front court. Our bigs couldn't really get going because once he did get it in the front court he tried to penetrate the lane and lost the ball almost every time.

There must honestly have been no one available, if they couldn't dig up one prospect. It's a weak era for point guards.

Someone please review the rules for which players are allowed to participate in a summer league. Is there an age limit, a career-seasons limit?

What I'm getting at is: if they had wanted to and if Gillespie had been willing to, could the Suns have sent Collin Gillespie to the SL team to solve this problem of there being no floor generals whatsoever there? If you ask what Gillespie would have gotten out of that...it would have made him look better for earning the regular-season point guard spot (if backup) that he will certainly get by virtue of there being no other point guard.

And I'm so disappointed that anyone is talking about making Devin Booker play point guard again. Perhaps those people will cut it out if Bradley Beal finally gets dumped. That was the only reason Point Book was happening. For unclear reasons, coach wouldn't bench Beal.
IDK about age limit. Sac had a 29 year old rookie playing on their squad.

He's a better shooter than Grayson based on his college shooting stats being 2nd only to Steph Curry - not the 2 games in preseason.

As far as Oso goes, tell me a big besides Giannis who is successful by continuously driving from the top of the key in the league. To put in mildly Giannis is far more dynamic and has a far better handle than Oso. G-league level defense is not NBA defense.

I am not saying Oso can't be somewhat useful, just that you can never play him in a playoff game where a team attacks your weaknesses.
I don’t know we’re talking about end of the bench players. Seems you’re over the top about players weaknesses.

The Suns could have drafted Haliburton at #10, so this is not the best comparison.

Measurements does not mean a player can play in the NBA.

I'm telling you what I see now, not projecting his future, but I expected more from Khaman in summer league.
Much more raw than I expected, and I expected him to be raw. They say SL isn’t the best to evaluate

On to the next game! When is it and how many are left? Maybe try Point Oso.

Can't gain a lot from summer league, but one can look at things like the quickness, reaction time and mobility of a player.

IMO his Athleticism is the one thing that’s showing. But he’s raw and a step behind right now. It’s to be expected at 18

I didn't see the quickness though compared to a player like Alex Sarr.

Basketball IQ and experience can help with that to some degree.
