I agree. I might give him a little more time, but I am beginning to think that Oso is a waste of a roster spot. We need to run this team like a tryout from top to bottom. We have to find players, good players, maybe even star players outside of the draft.Why does Gobert get played off the floor? Lack of shooting. Unlike Oso he can drastically elevate a teams defense.
What skill does Oso bring that some journeyman 7' doesn't? Mason Plumlee is a good example of a journeyman. Mason is a better defender, rebounder, and finishes inside better. So why stan for Oso by bringing up guards who are tasked with entirely different facets of basketball.
This means free agent signings, international signings etc. We need players who have all the tools to develop. Oso is not that guy. He might fill a niche spot on a team that already has identity.
