@TJ Is this as big of a signing as this article makes it out to be?

Only 17, so I would imagine he is very raw.

he can play and has a nice game for a 17 year old, but this isn’t like signing Deandre Ayton. I think he’ll be in the back end of the rotation with hopes of developing in the future. 7’4” wingspan is insane

This kid moves extremely well for someone that tall and young.

At his age, he is probably still growing!

Two things I take away from this video is 1) his mobility and 2) his timing on defense. Hard to teach that so young.

Apparently, Tommy wants the hardest schedule in NCAA history.

Extremely likely that Carter’s replacement is a euro

I really thought Carter was gonna blow up in year two. There’s no payoff being a CBB fan anymore.
Yeah it’s starting to feel that way. Just little continuity. Don’t have a chance to really attach to players. I like him this year but he wasn’t impactful enough to become a fan. Had he stayed a second year he likely would’ve been the man. And that’s a guy you remember. Instead he’ll be a dude a forget was ever even a Cat.

Carter was told that he likely wont fall out of the lottery. You almost have to leave with that feedback.

No ill will for guys like Carter Bryant or Dalen Terry but these guys weren’t ready for the NBA and could’ve been stars at the college level.

Agree. I'm all about what it takes to get that second multi-year contract. I dont think Carter will develop as a rookie in the NBA moreso than he would as a sophomore in college. I trust Tommy to help dudes get better year after year.

Carter’s replacement has been found, but it won’t be announced officially until around mid-June most likely
