True, but Durant makes himself such an easy target.

I wouldn't doubt that he liked that video on one of his burner accounts... then proceeded to argue with people about his logic at the time being flawed.

But, that video might seem funnier to me than many here, Interstellar is quoted often among a circle of my friends, a movie I truly enjoyed but also found absurd.

I am shutting down until the trade deadline is over. Not sure I can take this Durant thing again.

Your cave must be cozy.

I think the difference this go around with the KD drama, we're in a slightly better position as far as not having to pay as much as we would have last offseason but I don't think he makes us title favorites either so I wouldn't push all my chips in on him.

Over the summer if it took Mikal and picks/swaps for the next 5 years? Lets do it. Now? No thanks!

I'd do Ayton, filler, and 2 picks. If we could get Claxton with KD then I'd go all in draft picks, 3 picks and 2 swaps. I don't know if that gets it done, doubt it. Probably takes Cam J too and Id only do that with Claxton.

I think the Suns really were not interested in Kyrie. I think it was testing the waters to gauge Kyrie's value which in turn would help them know KD's value should he become available.

Not really, they wanted to get rid of Kyrie. They even didn't want to listen to the Lakers, because they're the Lakers. Now without Kyrie, KD's value to the Nets goes up even more since he is the only star there now.

Also maybe the Suns tried to bump up his value although the Lakers did that.

I take it back. On Wolf & Luke, they are saying that it looked like Kyrie was going to the Suns until a last-minute offer by the Mavs.

Three first round picks for the biggest cancer in the league for four months? LOL. Okay Brooklyn.

They essentially got it from the Mavericks and perhaps more.

Dinwiddie may be worth a couple of first round picks, Dorian Finney-Smith was worth a 1st and there is the unprotected 2029 1st round pick plus the 2nd round picks.

The nets still think they have a shot...... That's some strong drugs.

Ok so here it is.
Trade for KD.
Send KD, Booker and CP3 to Tibet for high altitude training for the rest of the season while the rest of the team tanks for Wenbananamama.
Sign, draft, trade or buy the best PG we can find.
Collect rings.
I guess KD will have to do at the PF spot :p

This might be over before it started. The new report is that the Nets are trying to add a 3rd team (Toronto) to the Kyrie deal so they end up with VanVleet. That would convince KD to stay.

The Nets front office is delusional so it will be interesting to see if Toronto plays along.

I think you’re overvaluing both 29 year olds.

What do you think they are worth in first round picks?

I think both players are worth a minimum of one first round pick each and point guards tend to have more value.

DFS wouldn’t garner a first. He’s a 29 year old defensive specialist with no real high level offensive skill.

For instance, if he was available as a stand alone trade option no one is sending the mavs a 1st. He’s the kind of guy that you’re happy to land as a bargained for chip to a bigger deal.

And I think a 29 year old, playing well, dinwiddie is a perfect third guard. He’s a starting pg for a bad team. He nets you a first and an average player like a Caruso.

I'd give a protected 1st round pick for Finney-Smith. I think he fills the Suns needs as a rotation power forward.

Royce O'Neale fetched a first round pick.

I have to ask, do you think a team wouldn't give up a 1st for Caruso? I think they would.

No. And if so it would be heavily protected imo. More often than not those guys move as overpaid free agents or as pieces, not centers, of trades.

My kid is trying to convince me, Cam at PF, Whoever at Center, Booker and Bridges at Guards, and KD at small forward. Plus KD can bring the ball up, and he's used to running an offense, too.

Has anyone been following the heater Cameron Thomas is on? Had 44 last game and 48 tonight for the Nets.

Getting rid of Kyrie might be a bigger addition by subtraction situation than any of us realize.
