We were winning when we went heavy run. Context matters.
The context is Colt was able to function in a balanced attack that’s the context! We did punt by the way when we started trying Kliffys normal sling it around garbage and ended up in some 3rd and longs but yeah context…

How do you know if he’s hurt or injured? How do I know? How does anyone know? We don’t know his body. We gotta stop acting like we know these dudes’ bodies more than they do.

Josh Allen is a relatively poor example. He played awful yesterday & you can tell the injury is effecting his physical & mental state. I don’t care about toughness points if you’re more of a liability than a positive asset.
This is a fair question. I have never seen a player injure his hamstring and then run around to finish a game like Kyler did last week. I have also never seen a player finish a game like that that, rest it for the following week, and it get worse. So, could Kyler have played his normal brand of football with his hamstring hurt...probably not. But he could have played an in the pocket style of football similar to how McCoy played.

What is so hard to understand? They made a commitment to actually run and mix up the play calling, Connor 21 runs. Not once ALL season has that happened until yesterday.
1st half of the first game vs. Rams: 8 runs, 28 pass attempts by Murray, 17 completions (resulting in 7 first downs passing, 6 points, 0 passing TDs).

1st half of the 2nd game vs. Rams: 10 runs, 27 pass attempts by McCoy, 19 completions (resulting in 9 first downs passing, 17 points, 1 passing TD).

Yeah... looks like totally different game plans.

Nice cherry picking, Connor had 13 total carries by far the most and Kyler had to sling it nearly 60 times but sure same game plan. Connor had more carries than everyone combined in the first meeting, but sure having manageable downs didn’t help Colt at all. And the Rams defense was dominating the Oline because the lack of running game…

I thought same old offense when the Cards ran their first offensive play of the game.
Except that game probably had the most targets for Moore downfield instead of the stupid sideways passes. They made some great catches for Colt as well, where as dropped ones hitting hands in other games. Like I said everything went right for Colt like short fields after turnovers and a pathetic effort from the Rams O and D wasn’t much better. Wouldn’t count on it against the Niners…

It would be interesting to see over the past four years of KK calling plays how many on play one for the offense was a WR screen. Last three games all started that way

Kyler doesn’t play Defense Brit you know the one that allows opposing teams to score every first drive of the game…

Like the offense that never scores on the opening drive of the game?

So mush so that we now ALWAYS defer?

We were behind as usual after the first drive but in this game he didn’t totally abandon the run, why is this hard to see? **** we go down 7-0 against most teams and Kliff just starts slinging it and goes 3 and out over and over and over. We always abandon it to early like you have 3 qtrs left but he does, either that or he starts running late when we actually shouldn’t be. Come on you’ve all watched the damn games you see the same head scratching play calls. Geesh never mind Colt is a god among mere mortals…

This is nuts.

Conner's first run wasn't until 1:45 remaining in the 1st quarter.

He had 2 runs in Q1 and 6 in Q2. Less than in most games Kyler has played in this year.

He had 7 in Q3 and 6 in Q4.

Most of his runs were in the 2nd half when we had a big lead and we were eating clock.

What part of "You have to pass more when behind because Murray sucks and put us behind" is difficult for you to understand?

What did he say?

At work and can't listen to the audio
Kliff said: "The whole week during (this last week of) practice, the way he (Colt) led and the professionalism, there early, stayed late.. communication was through the roof. It was awesome to see."

Open jab to Kyler with this comment and is sending a message.

Alluded to Kyler got paid and doesn't care, mouthing off to Kliff and D-Hop.

They aren't moving him obviously and doesn't think he will up and leave for baseball.

Nobody is happy in Arizona.

"Az doesn't like their quarterback, as Kliff alluded to, he (Kyler) loves to get there late and leave early, and you guys know the stories about Budda Baker not liking Kyler Murray, you've seen the video with Deandre Hopkins, it's like the guy (Kyler) is not endearing himself to the locker room."

I hate to say it, but it's kind of what I thought. Still not proven though!

IF it is true, it can be fixed. like @juza76 said, K1 needs to first swallow his pride and admit he needs to change his approach to leading his teammates.

Kyler, if you're reading this man, start turning it around tomorrow morning! 6:30 am! You can do it!

Here's a short read that will help a little if you don't know where to start!:
