The line is playing solid. I have watched Smith on several plays and he hasn't had a bad play. Had an excellent block on 93 on the TD. Coward looks like he has been on the team the whole season.

So puzzling how Kliff can do different things, you know, some of the things he should mix in when Colt is the QB but he doesn't when Kyler is playing.

Mentioned that prior, Kliff's biggest enemy is his own desire to be too cute. Regardless, this is the best first half QB play all season... but of course we are still the only team which would take too much time on the PAT lol

Well that’s what I would expect with my starting quarterback who takes every single practice rep with the first team and has all the reps all through training camp….

When I have a back up that missed most of training camp and a good portion of the first three weeks of the season can come in and run it seamlessly makes you wonder?

Forget the left side and the center, Lecitus Smith stood up 93 in the hole and turned him around that's why that hole was so big

It's been baptism by fire and so far he's held his own for 2 weeks. The mistakes he does make are correctable.

In all seriousness, a timing-rhythm QB in a timing-rhythm system works really well in this league and can hide a lot of flaws.

That is Conners role to me, the short 4-6 yard hard nosed runs, but we desperately need a RB that can take it the house at anytime

Why can't we open holes like that normally?

Because Colt is spreading it around and making the Rams play the whole field. The boot by Colt came from under center which gave him time and space. It’s something we’ve been complaining about.
Colts bet under center more this game than Kyler has been all season.

Well the QB isn’t doing anything different. Playcalling is better today though. More plays under center and calls like the fake screen and the naked boot. Colt is 16/23 123 0-0 5.34 YPA
