I think it goes back all the way to the end of the regular season. I remember one game in particular where him and CP3 did not appear to be getting along.

But mostly I think it's just about him wanting to start and get another big contract.

Since Crowder knows the Suns are trying to trade him, he should realize this is a business.

I hope it doesn't turn into an Eric Bledsoe situation.

After Crowders last tweet I'd trade him to the worst team in the league for cash considerations just to piss him off and shut his mouth.
But I'm a spiteful prick and nobody comes to me for the answers.

I hope the Suns don’t sell for pennies on the dollar. They need size.

TF is wrong with Jae Crowder?

PJ Tucker recently signed a 3 year/ $33 million dollar contract. I imagine Jae Crowder wants his next contract to look like that.

If he is backing up Cam Johnson, this makes it more unlikely to happen.

Is that for real?
Yeah but it's from several months ago. Crowder is one of those guys that fans love to hate on which led to the T Shirt, I don't recall all the details but Booker was wearing it in support of Jae.

Some Pelicans fans wore these T-shirts in the playoff series against the Suns. The Suns players sort of embraced the heckling.

I believe Devin Booker bought a couple of the shirts.

I suspect this is between Paul and Crowder, knowing how competitive they both are and Paul's history of wearing on people... I hope one of them can be the bigger man and bury the hatchet.

It would really suck to dump Crowder for nothing but his salary... the guy brings a level of toughness that no one else on this roster does, you need guys like that.

But hey... if we get one of these stupid rich owners... maybe swapping Crowder for someone owed way more money is a huge win.

Praying that deep pockets equals deep opportunity.

Ainge saves about $5 million now in the trade, but he will need to flip Kelly Olynyk as he is owed nearly $12 million next season.
I always liked Olynyk. I thought he would had a more impact as a player as everytime I saw him play he performed well. Maybe I just saw him on his best days. He's what 6'11 and pretty agile & hustles. Suns probably wouldn't be interest at $12 million per if that's what he's getting. Any thoughts on him?

Crowder should know this a business as a non star vet so don't go down the rage and revenge mode. Yeah as a example look at Bledsoe now he's just a unwanted free agent so far this year. You should never burn bridges. Not that he's what the Suns are looking for this coming season but after what he did to the Suns he wouldn't even be under consideration.

Crowder has been dealt 5 times in his career and hasn't spent 2 consecutive seasons with a team since his 5th year in the league while he was with Boston.

The Suns have offered him the largest contract of his career also. His 3 year deal here pays him about $5 million less than he's made in his first 8 years in the league. He even signed his first sponsorship deal in Phoenix last year with Gila River Casino, I believe. It was a super cushy gig where he hosted parties at the resort during the summer while the resort also helped promote his clothing line. Source for the sponsorship details.

I understand he wants another payday but it's not like he's been disrespected here, at all.

I like Olynyk, but I envisioned the Suns going with a more athletic power forward behind Cam Johnson.

It's probably because the Suns already have so many big men in Ayton, Biyombo, Landale and Saric.

However, I do think Kelly could back up the 4/5 position quite well and help spread the floor. He can do a lot of the things Saric does, which is a good thing especially since Dario is coming off an injury.

What we need to back up CamJ is a physical PF that can get hot from the 3 and get into the minds of opponents. Oh if only there were such a player.

If the Suns can't find a power forward that fits the bill, maybe they should look at some athletic 3s that can play some 4.

I can't think of anyone right now who may be available. If the Suns had been able to trade for Bojan and Vanderbilt, it would have been done by committee.

Still, I think the Suns primary need is another guard who can play make and shoot. They definitely need a pure shooter.

These guys have big egos. Crowder will tell you he's been deep in the playoffs every year. He's not thinking long-term here. He feels disrespected. It is what it is but sounds like it won't be our problem for much longer. I liked Crowder but I can't say I respect all the noise he's making here. Not very professional.

IMO, the Suns need some energy on their roster coming off the bench. The off season has been so lackluster.

If Crowder doesn't want to return to the Suns, would anyone be willing to consider bringing Kelly Oubre back for one season. Crowder for Oubre works straight up in a trade.

I know all the negatives, but if he were willing to come off the bench behind Cam Johnson, he might fill the role.

He is on an expiring contract ($12,600,000) so there is no long term investment.

Anyway, hopefully this gets some conversation going.

I doubt the Hornets would trade PJ Washington with the Miles Bridges situation.

I don’t think that is a good idea. Trade target needs to be a ball handler or a PF.

kelly is not really a guy you want as a 6th man, his shot creation is dubious.

from that article the targets I would like are Barnes, Melton, and randle for the right price.

I like Barnes and Melton as options. Too bad the Suns didn't keep Melton.

Randle would require a significant financial investment.

I think Oubre could play some power forward behind Cam Johnson but he would not be a primary target.
