Urban Meyer fired as Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach amid rocky first year

While reading this article I couldn't help but wonder how the guy lasted so long. What a creep/jerk/idiot.

Look forward to reading an article soon about his wife taking half of everything in a divorce settlement.

Actually doesn’t look that bad. Compare it to other first time head coaches.
Yea 4 on that list have winning records. One wen to a SB. And Kliff is trending up.

I would hope there is a clause in his agreement for that type of exit. Dude shouldn't get paid out.
All contracts should have some behavioral clauses to protect the team/owner. Ridiculous to make a bad hire, can the guy, and still have to pay them.

If Urban Meyer receives a reported $9 million for less than one season not bad pay.

It's bad. Rhule & Kliff are still TBD. The only one on that list that had any success really was Harbaugh. Chip Kelly and O'Brien had a winning record but anybody who says their tenure wasn't a train wreck is kidding themselves. The biggest jokes were the biggest name college coaches of all time (Saban, Meyer, Spurrier, Petrino, etc...).
