He wasn't good here, and likely will never be good elsewhere. Why do you guys care so much about this now rando backup???

I agree but the talk still exists because had management not realized their mistake & drafted Kyler we'd probably still be stuck with him & losing games. At some point people just need to let it go.

From strictly a financial standpoint, being a mediocre QB is fantastic and being a great running back is not lol

Agree. Playing QB in the NFL at a even a mediocre level must be a really hard thing to do, don't you think Jetstream? I mean like so hard that the normal person doesn't really appreciate how hard it is to do. And that's why we see the truly crazy numbers that Thecardfan posted.

Not sure what people expect.

Falcons got their buts whipped all game. Couldn't run the ball. Pull Matt Ryan and what? People expect Rosen to go in and somehow be better?

Put guys in situations to fail and they are going to fail 99 times out of 100.

This x100 And for like five games now that defense has been making most quarterbacks look bad

Very true, but being a long snapper might be the most lucrative of the bunch lol

Matt Prater (kicker) will have made $34m+ by his 38th birthday.

Justin Tucker at 32 has made over $40m.

Graham Gano is 34 and will have made over $40m under a contract that expires in 2024.

Etc, etc...

His first throw was close to a picksix too at the last possible second the DB realized he wasn't going to get it and changed direction so he could make a tackle.

Josh has thrown a ton of pick sixes considering how little he's actually played

Being a punter is by far the best job in sports.
Maybe the person who does this: "It did occur to me yesterday watching the USA vs. Argentina match that being a female Beach Volleyball contender now involves getting a full Brazilian bikini wax. I hope that cost is covered. And what kind of calculations does that require? "Hmm, I have to compete from this date to this date, and my Brazilian will last four weeks, so..."

Except if those players don't do alright in pressure situations, they'll be out of jobs. PKs are a dime a dozen. Lefty relievers benefit from the rarity.

This 'exception' doesn't exist for lefty relievers, and the three batter rule almost assures they'll also face right-side hitters.
