They were "officially" eliminated by the end of May
I heard summer chatter around that, but doesn't seem possible

I think they would be pretty close now though

They have 50 games left. They are 35.5 games back and 35 wins behind first

Without getting into tie breakers, if the Diamondbacks won all their games they'd get to 85 wins

That means the Giants couldn't finish better than 15-36, the dodgers 19-32, padres 22-28 and Rockies 35-16

With the amount on divisional play, not sure if it's even possible to have all those outcomes

Some jarring attendance numbers. Even in our worst years previously we'd still average around 20k a game.

I know a lot of it has to do with Covid killing season ticket sales before the year. Even so, routinely pulling crowds of around 8k is sad. Certainly not the fans fault though.
