If we did these monthly, the D-Backs may well have gotten an A through April. They were 14-12 and were playing good baseball. Alas, they have totally fallen apart in May. They are a sub-par offensive team with an injury-riddled rotation and a bad bullpen. The good news is Ketel Marte is back and Madison Bumgarner has been very good since a terrible first three starts (don't worry about the last outing in Coors Field). Overall, though, it's been bad, especially with how fast everything fell apart. Grade: D

The Arizona Diamondbacks are a train wreck right now, entering Saturday with 12 consecutive losses and losing 21 of the last 24 games. D-backs president Derrick Hall says he’s not blaming manager Torey Lovullo, but Lovullo is on the final year of his contract and future Hall of Fame manager Bruce Bochy is just a six-hour drive away and itching for a return.

Not sure Bochy can turn around the season with this roster. I long for the day Kendrick sells the team to an ownership group with money who will keep team here and turn the franchise around. I mean that fairytale came true for the Marlins, we deserve that too.

Why do we keep getting these guys from the worst teams in the league? That should tell you something right there, although I know absolutely nothing about the guy.

He spent multiple seasons with Dbacks already. Expect little.
