Yeah hence he struggles when guarding quick guys on the perimeter (like has been mentioned). Saric is however a solid defender of big men and thus it is fallacious to suggest he can't defend anyone.

Too skinny to hold his own there, though. Again, he is willing, but he has too many physical limitations.

Is there really a chance to get lou williams?

He would literally be the perfect guy to lead our bench.

So many West teams getting weaker. There’s a legit chance to not just be a playoff pretender (which I think we currently are) but to be a dark horse contender if they went out and got another legit big man with that MLE.

instead were talking about getting bargains. Well... you usually get what you pay for there.

maybe Milsap’s soon to be rotting corpse will join the team.

Might get some bargains. Especially if they are able to split up the MLE.

That appears to be the strategy something the Cardinals used to use a lot in past seasons.

So lou williams was almost traded for the 18th pick?

If he is available, I am all for giving them next years first if that is what it takes.

We can't trade next year's first since we already traded our 2022 first. Or at least I believe that's how it works.

I don't think you can do it. OKC owns the Suns 2022 pick.

I think this is the strategy. Baynes is still out there. Bogdan is still available.

As long as we don't end up scraping the bottom of the barrel, as we did last year with Kaminsky and Diallo...

Two quality players will make a huge difference. I am not counting Smith in the picture since he is a rookie.

Maybe has to do with a S&T for Baynes? I believe the Pels were showing interest in Baynes at one point today.
I could see this. I was playing g around with the trade machine a few hours ago trying to figure out what could be done. Baynes would be a great vet addition for NOP. I cannot see Bledsoe and Ball working on the same roster.

You think Ball would be the guy dealt to us?

Bledsoes contract is to big - not to mention other reasons.

I’d prefer Hill to Lonzo, but I think S&T Baynes could do it for either. 2/20 w/ a TO or something.

Something like Hill and Hart to Phoenix, Bledsoe and Baynes to NOP, Jrue to Milwaukee. And of course whatever picks there were exchanged between the Bucks and Pels.

then we would still have the MLE to work with.
