Ayton still needs to work on sealing off his man in the post.

Kings are aware of Ayton defensively and passing up some easy shots inside.

Did the Suns trail at all in the opener last year? I don't think they did, unless it was early in the first quarter when it doesn't really matter. Love the effort tonight. Glad Igor is there to see it also.

Booker is feeling it with that 3 pointer. Great to see him in rhythm.

Booker has a double double, 22 points and 10 assists. Didn't expect that with Rubio here.

He just nailed a 3 so I edited this from 19 to 22 points.

Suns win by 29 -- 124-95 . A great start!

Great 3- point shooting in the second half to make up for a lousy first half.

And Booker's defense.

Our next game at Denver Friday at 6PM will be a challenge. And the Clippers on Saturday at 7.

I haven’t seen this much activity on defense from Phoenix in a very long time. 36 points allowed in the 2nd half. That’s incredible, especially given how hot Hield was in the first half

It was nice not seeing Igor's blender offense where our big would set a useless screen 10 feet outside the three point line.

And it was Booker on him for the most part. Got to give him his due for playing defense like he did. It wasn't always good but it was good enough. I really hope he keeps that up.

Eddie was talking about it towards the end of the game, how Booker got his numbers but didn't need to win the game or have a huge effect on the game. That's big for this Suns team. Booker scoring 20+ points and not being the guy who led us to victory. Have we seen that in the last 3 years, at all? I don't think so.
