Why didn't we just take Oubre, who at least is an NBA caliber player, unlike Rivers and the Grizzlies leftovers???

Does it matter? Their bench is one of the few benches in the NBA that is worse than ours. Please tell me this trade isn't about dumping a mere $2 million in salary (the pro-rated difference between the contracts for Ariza and Rivers).

LOL! If this is legit, it just fits absolutely perfectly with the current state of the franchise... you get your hopes up that they might finally make a move that would have some at least tiny minor positive impact, and they still find a way to dash that hope with a totally useless transaction.

We traded an expiring ariza. What did people expect. Rivers is what you all say you want (35% 3%, can penetrate, 7 year vet) but um sure you had dreams of someone better dancing in your heads. It was ariza people.

And lol at bringing back two more wings! Though I like brooks.
