If we offered a first and a 4th for Jarvis Landry I'm strongly going to consider sending the team photos of my grandmother bathing in creamed corn.

can I ask the question everyone else is thinking:

Why do you have photos of your grandmother bathing in creamed corn?

And more importantly, why haven't you shared them with us?!

Rumors are that the Jags are looking to trade Alan Hurns

A wr that dropped off the planet after signing a contract extension

What did he get, 4 yrs / $40m? I remember when Fitz signed for that figure, and half the planet had a coronary. And he was in his prime.

Hurns is a classic example of a guy who got paid, then promptly started mailing it in. He and Michael Floyd would make a great tandem someplace like Cleveland.

I would like to see them get Hurns who can be just as good as Jarvis and probably be a lot cheaper too.

Bull, hurns is basically jaron brown getting 8 mill a year, there is a reason they want to dump him.

On Landry, he is a very good possession receiver, I think he is boldin 2.0.

I am not totally opposed to this, if palmer retires though no qb for us.

But for a mid to late first how is Landry not worth it? Odds actually say most of the time you won't get a player as good as him there, and we would get him this year before our window is closed.

I actually think I would do it.

So tell me would you consider Allen Robinson instead of Hurns?

Not gonna happen. There's a certain amount of need at the position, but it isn't 1st + 4th worthy. You can discount almost all rumors at this time of year. Without any important NFL games in the near future, people gotta find something to entertain themselves.

Offering the Cardinals' 2018 1st and 4th for WR Jarvis Landry would signify the Cardinals think they have their QBOF in Blaine Gabbert. Otherwise, they really need to keep their 1st round pick to address the QB position. That said, trading for Jarvis Jones would likely keep BA another year or two as HC, as BA would want to get Hines Ward type play and production from Jones...and if Fitz retires, Jones would be the bell cow Fitz has been.

Damn.

Mitch comes in here making all the sense in the world, and blowing my opinion right out of the water.

Edit:Jarvis Landry is worth that much, and I think that much of him as a player in this league. Juice is a ridiculous football player. Much like Boldin but faster and quicker, IMHO. I do not know if I would actually give a 1st round pick for him, but I would be lying if I didn't say I would think long and hard about that.

That being said, no way we trade a 1st round pick with our current QB situation.

Call me crazy, but I would give a 1st and 4th for Jarvis Landry in a heartbeat. He is worth that much, and I think that much of him as a player in this league. Juice is a ridiculous football player. Much like Boldin but faster and quicker, IMHO.

Yea, you're crazy as heck man, lol. He's nowhere near worth that.

Don't we have a Jarvis Landry type player in both John Brown and JJ Nelson? Unless we package one of those guys in a deal for Landry, it makes absolutely no sense to give away a 1st rounder for this guy...
So tell me would you consider Allen Robinson instead of Hurns?

Well he is definetly better, but there is something wrong with him now as well as he is dropping a lot of balls.

Yeah I would trade for Robinson, but I think I would prefer Landry, even though Robinson is more of a big play guy.

We're gonna need our first and fourth and two more firsts to trade to the top of the draft this coming year for a QB.

If we have a decent year and draft in the 20's we won't have a chance of getting one of the franchise QBs in the upcoming draft.

I am an unapologetic Jarvis Landry fanboy, but I think this would be insanity for both teams.

Landry and Parker are going to make Cutler look like a different QB this year.
