Hopefully within the next 10 years the Super Bowl will be back here in Arizona.
Now that Miami has been nixed from the rotation, I can totally see the basin becoming a regular in the rotation. And, really it likely already is with Dallas and New Orleans.Adam Shefter of ESPN tweeted that he thinks the Super Bowl should be in AZ every four years---he said the venue and the people were awesome.
It'll be back. Before Levi, it was the only real west coast option. It'll be back is 6-8 years.
sounds like the people of Glendale need to vote out their mayor
Looks like you'll have Los Angeles in the mix pretty soon as well.
I think the production and events for this Super Bowl ,at least from how things appeared from the outside and what little I was involved in, were the biggest and best they have ever been. I think having the Pro Bowl and the WM Open the same week was key to that success.
For a week, Arizona was sports Mecca.
Pro Bowl.
WM Open
ESPN broadcasting live from Scottsdale all week
Super Bowl central downtown
concerts on the west side every night before the super bowl
concerts at US Airways Center
Suns played a game or two at home
Parties and events all over town
And finally, the GAME. An instant classic. And FINALLY a halftime show worth watching from front to back, despite the fact that I don't like any of the artists who performed.
We are going to bid on the 2020 SB.

I think every 5 years works with Dallas and New Orleans on a similar rotation and then do your experimenting in the other two years. Atlanta will be a nice spot if they do that stadium as rendered.
Honestly, I can't wait for 20-some years down the road and it's time for a new stadium(s). Get the Cardinals home out of Glendale and to a city that wants them and embrace the fun that comes along. And, watch Glendale turn back into a ghost town farm.Yes. He did nothing to help bring the game here. Did nothing to secure the hotel rooms and parking spaces the NFL requested. Was vocal in his opposition, but then whined when the NFL didn't offer him tickets to the game.sounds like the people of Glendale need to vote out their mayor
Talk about a guy who is in politics for the perks...
