Cards back to the WTF factor in the draft- anybody have him above late 2nd to 3rd round? besides Keim?

He is going to be compared to Dix, around here and other places, for the next couple of years. If he is even with Dix, or better, plus what we get at #91, Keim can look really smart.

If he is a role player, and Dix is a Pro Bowl type, then, .... :barf:

Doesn't look like anyone wanted to trade into this spot, so we took the highest-rated player available. We'll see how this works out.

He's probably not going to be a superstar, but I don't think this is a draft class full of superstars.

Man this backfield. Young, athletic and aggressive. I love it. Looking forward to Sundays in the fall.

That pick is laughable at that spot. Seriously Skillet Hands level trade down.

Bucannon had to pull a TON of weight on an awful defense. Good ball instincts and is a beast in run stopping.

So much for not drafting for need. Freaking terrible pick. 3rd round talent.

Pp21, badger and this kid is a strong future for our backfield. Sprinkle in crom and I'm stoked.

Value at 27? Don't know but he's a great fit in our team

We just drafted a great safety who had to play clean up on a crap defense. How high do you think Bucannon might have gone if he played on a championship caliber college team? I like the guy and there are some quote 'experts' who like the guy... I like the guy and the selection and leave it at that :)

as I posted in an earlier thread:

i really like the player. For whatever reason, I ended up watching like three Wash state games this year and he pops off the screen. He has a nose for the ball and makes plays.

my only beef is that #27 feels early to me.

the last time the Cardinals took a player i liked but "too early" was Daryl Washington -- so we got that going for us.

Ourlads.com had him rated as their #1 safety.
