Totally agree with this statement! I am so glad that Michael took control of the team and not his brother Bill Jr.Transition from Bill Sr to Michael is the biggest reason for the upswing.

I am certain that many of you can recall prior to 1996, when Michael became part of the Cardinals management, it was thought that his older brother Bill Jr. would be next in line for the top position in the organization.

Transition from Bill Sr to Michael is the biggest reason for the upswing.
Moving Graves out of the GM spot was big.
But that wouldn't have happened if Bill Sr. was still in charge. Don't forget the Cards went to the SB with Graves as the GM.
