I like that third video. I'm disappointed to see that Childress is largely a two-foot leaper much like Jason Richardson. Truly great athletes can jump off of one foot or both feet. Being able to jump off one foot allows an athlete to jump further and higher believe it or not (just watch olympic long-jumpers and high-jumpers). In basketball it allows them to take off further away from the hoop, jump away from their opponent, and travel more distance while in the air. I remember one offseason when Richardson was with the Warriors, he was trying to learn to jump off of one foot. I don't think it was a success considering he never does. I really do think that being solely a two-foot jumper prevented Richardson form becoming an elite player. All of the other tools are certainly there.
Its against the rules to jump off 2 feet in high jumping.
