I still think Matt will be good, and I'll still be serving up crow when that time comes, but for now I have my own to eat, and I'll do it gladly.

I know of quite a few posters around here (including me, obviously) that said Warner wouldn't make it past week 4 or 5 due to injury.

He pretty much stayed healthy the entire season, and showed a LOT more 'good Kurt' than 'bad Kurt' (see Jets last year--and when it comes to that game, I don't give a rat's ass what he did in the 2nd half).

So, hats off to you, Kurt, for a FANTASTIC season so far. Keep bringin' it, and we'll get where you want to take us! :stick:

That phrase "tough as an old boot" has been changed. It is now "tough as an old Warner".

Bleh. I said he'd be hurt by week 4 or 5. He made it through the entire regular season (except for one concussion). Regular season is over. That's all the comment is about.

Premature Evacuation.

Let Kurt do his thing now because for better or for worse, it looks like we will all see what we got in Matty next year.

Too early. There will be plenty of crow to eat after the season is over. I've got a plate in the fridge.

It's never too early to admit when you are wrong.

And why can't she ;) eat her dang crow when she wants to? :)

Though I'll never understand the need; our team has had a great season, and its been quite a ride so far, regardless of either what was said along the way or the outcome of this weekend.

I think all the Leinart doubters would gladly eat crow if he were to be what we hoped for. Having him fail means the team fails. This is not about Leinart but about the team. Many of us just do not think he is the man from what we have seen so far. What the coaches really think of him none of us know. They see him daily in practice so they have had a couple of years to watch and should have a good handle on him. If we draft a QB this spring then you can bet they are concerned to say the least. Especially if they draft one early. This could all change if Matt decides to come back for another year. Then they might put a QB down for the lower part of the draft unless someone they really think highly of emerges. A lot of great QB's came from way down in the draft or from outside the draft like Kurt Warner. How does a guy like Warner not even get drafted? That means that 32 teams did not see enough in him to even take him in the last round. That is hard to believe. I truly hope Matt is the man but announcers and many of our board members are more than just concerned.

We are afraid to answer that question and invoke evil karma wrath.

LOL, I see....I retract my statement....Linder, you keep that crow out of sight, there will be no further mention of that which can't be named on my watch. As I typed this I spun around three times and did the boogey-boogey dance. I hope that covers my blunder.

Yes, if Kurt gets hurt, it will be MY fault. I'm amazingly powerful from 1500 miles away.

Karma knows no boundaries such as time and space!

So true. I was in a car accident on December 27th where i somehow made it over an irrigation canal.. I blame the fact that i didn't die on taking two people to the airport to go see their families before christmas... had I said no to them, HeavyB may be no more.. haha
