No need to eat Crow.

Warner hasn't been anywhere near as good as he was last season. Fewer TD passes but same number of INTs. Passing off over 800 yards, Pass Offense dropped from #2 to #12. Scored 50 fewer points.

If the Cards hadn't lucked into getting Beanie Wells and started to establish a running game we wouldn't have won 6 games with that old geezer at QB.

Karma knows no boundaries such as time and space!

LOL I've been thinking about this thread as I type something for the game thread and before I can hit reply the exact opposite happens.

Now that the season is over, I'll dig into my own plate of crow. I was VERY concerned about signing Kurt to a larger contract, coming off his season last year and having HIP surgery for goodness sake. Early in the year and the preseason, he seemed to be a bit off, as if he was feeling awkward on that hip.

I didn't think there was any way he'd duplicate last season's success.

I was wrong...he was nails this year and had some amazing games. And a LOT fewer "bad Kurt" outings. I didn't think he'd get hurt badly this year, but I sure did think he was going to regress and a lot (see Gannon, Rich). Kurt put in a fine season, and some very fine games, culminating in one of the most brilliant QB played games I've ever seen in that GB slugfest.

My hat's off to Kurt, what a special player. Whether he retires or comes back, I'm glad we've had the time we have with the guy to watch him play football at the highest level.

Where are the people who said Beanie Wells was soft/injury prone?
