I am so happy to see that the Cowboys screwed up with their $1.2B stadium. The look on Jerry Jones face was priceless in warmups watching the punters hit that monster screen hanging over the field on 4 consecutive punts. I wonder how many punts are going to have to be rehit because of that screen. You would think if you were spending that much to build a stadium you would make sure that you hung the screen high enough to not interfere with the game being played.

Jerry doesn't care about football, all he cares about is the image of the team and perception of "America's criminals". All I keep hearing in Dallas is "Our stadium is better than your's now". I tell them to just win a playoff game before I die and we are 1-0 lifetime against the Cowpies in the playoffs. Cowboy fans are such egotistical jerks!!! I bet if the are situations with balls hitting the board the NFL will step in and make them fix it.

$40 million dollar screen in the way of the game. How the hell do you build a stadium without thinking about that. I am just dumbfounded. And it makes it even better that its the Cowboys and Jerry Jones, just awesome

Do you think that obstructs any upper level seats from seeing the opposite conner endzone?

From the above article:
Trapasso and veteran Titans punter Craig Hentrich both hit the screen during pregame warmups, but Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says there are no plans to raise to the massive screens any higher.
Wow, just wow!

Its funny, they did a tour of the thing with a lot of architects and other people in the construction industry, and most all of them came away asking themselves, "why". Meaning although its big, lavish, and everything else but there is zero function or just plain old bad function, they spent so much money on cosmetics they forgot to engineer the thing. It is also one of the least energy efficient buildings ever built, in a year it is Estimated to use the same amount of energy used as the whole town of Santa Monica uses in a year.

This is what they were saying on the radio this morning.

The NFL will make him do it. There is no way they will continue to replay the down and risk more injuries like they did today. And this will happen every single game. You better believe the NFL will do one of three things, fine him for every game he doesn't move it or call an unsportsmanlike penalty on Dallas every time a punter does hit it.

I got to admit though that thing is awesome, but they can pay 1.5 billion to build a stadium but couldnt pay a few extra bucks for an engineer to tell you not to hang it only 90 feet off the field?

Our company (Miller) is the biggest sponsor of the Cowpies and they are taking us on exclusive tour next weekend and I soooooooo wish I could take a dump on midfield.

Well AJ Trapasso is from Ohio State so, naturally, he has a stronger leg than most punters. Therefore it may not be a problem when "normal" punters are kicking in the new stadium. :p

Could you imagine the chaos a coach could bring to a game by telling his punter to hit the screen as many times in a row as he can?

As well they should. No thought at all put into the screen height.
