Zay Jones to Cardinals (re-signed for 2025)

I may be wrong, but I’m not sure that either Jones OR the Cardinals thought that there would be a suspension. It seemed to me that the Cardinals were perturbed that a suspension was handed down because he was exonerated of any wrongdoing before the Cardinals signed him. I just can’t imagine that MO would be willing to sign him to a 1 year contract knowing that he would miss 6 games.

I’m not 100% on this.

But as I recall it, the suspension wasn’t handed down, but both parties knew that it was most likely coming at the time of contract
