Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers said this week that the team's new coaching staff arrived with a clear plan in place, and added that he made a point to meet regularly with head coach Jesse Minter and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle ahead of the offseason program.
Flowers said those early visits helped him get a head start on the system, as the staff began outlining its approach and introducing key concepts before the full team program. With the foundation already in place and communication flowing early, the Ravens appear positioned to hit the ground running under Minter's staff once full-team activities ramp up. Flowers' proactive approach, combined with a coaching staff that arrived organized and intentional, could accelerate the offense's development under Declan Doyle nd help Baltimore build early momentum heading into the 2026 season.

"They were ready. Everything from the plays to the formations; everything was already set. Their PowerPoints, everything was set. How are we going to learn the plays? What are we going to do? What type of offense are we going to have? We learned that from Day One. But I was coming back and forth, I came back every week, and I stopped by Coach Jesse [Minter] and Coach Declan [Doyle]'s offices. I stop by their office all the time. Once a week I try to stop by and talk to them."
