You are Bidwill, What are your options if Cardinals finish between 7 and 9 wins in 2021?

Disagree. You can go back in hindsight and dissect every bad team and you can try to put the blame on the GM. Had we stayed with Bradford, this team would have been much better than it was under Rosen. We pulled Bradford in a close loss to the Bears. That was a mistake. Bradford may have been close to the end of his career, but he was significantly better to finish this season out. Keim continues to get crapped on for his bad decisions & gets no credit for his good decisions. There have been both. Let’s see how this season plays out before we kiss his butt goodbye. i don’t completely trash him because I‘ve been around a whole lot longer than you have. Keim brought far more success to this franchise than any GM in Cardinal history. He‘s struggled of late, and the NFL is all about what have you done lately. The Cardinals have improved in each of his last 2 years as GM. Can we continue to improve? Time will tell. But, no. I won’t bash him until it’s obvious it’s time too.

its not hindsight WHEN I SAID ALL OF THE ABOVE AT THE TIME.

and again, He’s had 3 winning seasons in 8 years. He’s only made the playoffs 2 times in 8 years. And he’s won 1 playoff game in 8 years.

As awful as this reality is, in Rod Graves first 8 years he had 2 winning season, 2 division titles, 2 playoff appearances, 4 playoff wins and a NFC Title game.

in other words, more success of what matters... in the same amount of time. And Graves was awful... which says even more about Keim’s “success” or lack thereof.

Your opinion. Not mine. End of story. We’ll see how this season plays out before we condemn Keim to the ash heap. I’ve been around long enough to know he’s the best GM we’ve ever had. Yes, we have a crappy history & that may not mean anything to you. It means something to me.

our last pathetic GM stumbled into more division titles, more playoffs wins and more conference titles in his first 8 years than Keim can ever dream of. That says everything to me about Keim’s “success”.

Graves was the GM when the NFCW was the worst division in football. Keim’s success & failures have been when the NFCW was the best division in football. It does make a difference. Keim was recognized twice as NFL executive of the year. Not once, but twice. You can keep on hating dude. I’ll wait until this season is over to determine whether he’s done enough to be extended.

Lol at the old “I don’t mind eating poop bc it’s better than eating vomited diarrhea” argument to support Keim.

More importantly, who cares if it was hindsight?!? That’s what you’re SUPPOSED to rely upon when making decisions - experience!!! In hindsight was he good or bad?

This is why Keim's tenure is indefensible. He went from the penthouse to the outhouse and he doesn't get a mulligan for FIVE bad years.

I'm going to be upset if Kingsbury is the sacrificial goat and Keim survives if this season goes sideways. Keim absolutely should not get ANOTHER shot after the Wilks debacle AND failing to build a winner with Kingsbury.

and who put Wilks’ atrocious offensive staff together? Keim took credit for that and he’s the one who solved our QB opening that year with Sam Bradford, Mike Glennon then gave up picks for Josh Rosen. MB might have been the final call on Wilks, but Keim pretty much took a big fat dump on everything else that off-season.

you’d think this would be a no brainer for any Cardinals fan.

Maybe he's tired of getting passed over for a HC job & will take it now if it becomes available?
What I'd also say is that now he has a QB with star potential. After getting to work with Mahomes and the Andy Reid offense, it was hard to accept a job where there were zero QBs on the roster. We might have fired him as fast as we did Wilks with such uncomfortable roster construction.

The only way that would happen is if it’s a total blowout of the old Graves/Keim era and that means NOT plucking another underling to replace the last failure ahead of them.

Mighthave to be a package deal kinda thing where we could steal an up and coming guy from KC for GM who Bienemy would then trust.

Oh, yeah, that's my hope. If we're promoting Wilson or Harris, guys who have roots back to a front office that began in the Bob Ferguson days, I'm going to have to have an honest conversation with myself about how much time I want to invest in football. I'm not ever going to stop being a fan, but that'd be very rough to see 25 years or whatever of the same blind leading the blind approach.
