I reconfigured my company laptop to my home network. My login had always been my username and PW from work and the network was the same one from work.

So when I reconfigured my computer, I lost the local network/domain and can't login. I have tried administrator, blank, my old username/pw and nothing works.

Has this happened to anyone and how do you fix it?

You have to either reformat the computer, or use software that will allow you to log into Windows without knowing the administrator password.

There are ways to recover the password...

http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/

There is another tool that I used to use that would boot into a Linux kernel and allow you to edit the SAM file to anything you want, but this tool I gave will just crack the password. I've had it take up to 8 hours before, but atleast you won't have to rebuild
