WR Romeo Doubs shares unique way he memorizes Patriots' offense

New England Patriots wide receiver Romeo Doubs has come up with his own way to memorize the team’s offense this summer.

According to Sports Illustrated’s Mike Kadlick, Doubs stated before the media on Monday that he uses flash cards to memorize plays.

“I do flash cards,” Doubs said. “Sometimes I’ll just take a photo of the concept and then just draw it up on my own. I just try to use my memory as much as I can so I don’t play slow and can play fast.”

Doubs signed with the Patriots in free agency during the offseason. He had a career-year in 2025 as a member of the Green Bay Packers, having recorded 724 receiving yards and six touchdowns on the season. Doubs helped the Packers reach the playoffs last season.

The 26-year-old Doubs is the Patriots’ No. 2 option at wide receiver for next season. He will be expected to produce up to standard in that role behind three-time All-Pro wideout A.J. Brown.
