...Added fellow safety Dexter Jackson, who has gone from Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay to this, “It’s tough coming from, let’s be honest, an organization where everyone wants to win, demands greatness, demands perfection. If you don’t, how are you going to be a great player?”

That's a jab at the Cards org...after 2 games this kind of talk is already starting...yep..rock bottom...

Someone needs to remind Mr Jackson that HE was also a part of yesterdays embarassment. What was Mac saying about accountability?

I've got to agree. Don't exactly remember seeing his slow butt in the frame has D-Jack ran to the house either time. Besides (and no offense), he knew who was on the team when he took all that cash.

I agree with Jackson about the demand for perfection, but as a player you really can't say it.

I have said time and time again that the one area that Mac has dissappointed me is the sloppiness of this team. Mistake after mistake after mistake and at some point this HAS to be blamed on the head coach for not getting this fixed in the offseason.

Cut the guy some slack. What happened to all the love he was given in training camp and the preseason by just about everyone on this board?

Yes, he has been non-existent the past two games, and yes, he deserves criticiszm for that, however, maybe here's where's he's coming from:

He's worked his ass off preparing himself and this team for the season, and in doing so he is acutely aware of this teams strengths and where they can improve. And then he watches management do nothing to improve this team as talented veterans become available and and sign somewhere else. Hell, it frustrates many of us, how frustrated do you think he is?

Norman Hand - not good enough for the Cards.

Dan Wilkenson - not good enough for the Cards.

Randell Godfrey - not good enough for the Cards.

ALex Mobley - not good enough for the Cards.

Marco Coleman - not good enough for the Cards.

Antonio Freeman - not good enough for the Cards.

I think that's what he may be referring to.

Clearly he was refering to comments from other players after the first turnover. To hear one of your teammates say "Here we go again" would piss me off also.

Come on people, lets get our facts straight! He is pissed off at the attitude of some of the players. If you believe that you are a loser then you will always be a loser. This team will never be good if everytime they face adversity they crawl into a corner and cry. That is basically what his is saying. Sometimes the truth hurts. Kudos to Dexter for saying what has to be said.

Blah blah blah blah

Thats basically what your doing because you do not know this. The only players that are on that list the the Cards clearly stated they werent interested in was Hand!

Another Godfrey The team stated they were very much interested in but within like two days of being released he signed with the very first team he visited which was Seattle. Sounds like a guy who knew where he wanted to play and wasnt going to visit anywhere else! Man people get over it!

Actually it is called leadership. It's saying what needs to be said. I'm acutally surprised you didn't like his comments.

With the roster overhaul that has been going on the past couple seasons, who are the rotten apples left that need to go?

Scott Player?
Coby Rhinehart?
David Barrett?
Ronald McKinnon?
Anthony Clement?
Chris Dishman?
LJ Shelton?
Barron Tanner?
Russell Davis?

Most everyone else should not have been with this franchise long enough to foster a loser mentality should they?

Exactly MADCARD!!

People don't read what dexter was trying to say. In Tampa if the team got behind The Defense especially would get even madder and try to pick things up. They also had coaches that would be on their butts. Not here. Noone is held accountable. We have no motivation. Especially when we make the same mistakes every week. He wasn't talking about bringing in different players. He was simply disgusted at the attitude here.:stupid:

Bingo! It's the attitude that needs to change around here. People need to be held accountable. Players and coaches need to give it there all no matter what the situation. Dexter gets it. He wasn't saying that "I had a great game and everyone else around me sucks." No, he was pissed at the loser mentality when some of his teammates began sulking after the team faced some adversity.

Yes. Heads need to roll in a situation like that. Mac needs to grab this bull by the horns. If a player is hanging their head then Mac needs to sit their @ss on the bench. I want to see some fire from Mac - throw a fit, kick the Gatorade cooler if you have to. All I saw Sunday was Mac looking around with a confused look on his face basically saying "WTF is happening out there"?

Shut up and hit somebody, Dexter.
Does anyone else remember the following play? (I'm not positive this was the one, but I think it was Maurice Morris' 16 yard gain up the middle at the 5:21 mark in the 4Q):

Running along the right side of Maurice as he picked up those final 9 or 10 yards "watching him" (instead of knifing in to prevent the first down) was none other than #34. It seemed as if he wasn't too interested in giving up his body to make the play.

Look in the mirror D-Jax.

Did you see that Budweiser commercial where the reporter was interviewing the player in the lockerroom after his team lost and his response was basically "I played great but my teammates suck. I can't do it all by myself"

"There's no "I" in team."

"There aint no "we" either."

That has got to be one of the greatest commercials ever.
