A trio of Class of 2027 recruits have received offers from the Wisconsin Badgers.
This team is clearly in a rebuild, something that can't be overcome without strong recruiting habits. Lately, Wisconsin has been putting a ton of work into that department, which should hopefully get them back into the mix of at least competing in the Big Ten.
Anthony Williams, a top-100 wide receiver in the class of 2027, received an offer on March 8. His offer was the first to come in, and it's clear why the Badgers are so high on the three-star prospect.
Williams stands 6-foot-1, 185 pounds and currently plays for Oceanside Collegiate Academy High School in Mount Pleasant, SC. The Badgers need more playmakers, and Williams is just that. In 2025, he finished with 61 receptions for 1,061 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns.
March 9 saw the team extend offers to both Christian Hanshaw and Elijah Guertin. Hanshaw is an unranked recruit who plays for American Fork High School in Utah.
The class of 2027 tight end is a big one, standing 6-foot-5, 230 pounds. While the Badgers already have a tight end in their Class of 2027, that doesn't mean they can't be looking to bring in another.
Speaking of tight ends, Elijah Guertin plays both TE and DE. Wisconsin extended an offer his way, which marked the 16th for a man whose height and weight are listed as the exact same as Hanshaw's.
Guertin, who plays for Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, RI, would likely be brought in to play defense instead of offense. Seeing as Wisconsin has four incoming recruits, two on both sides of the ball, they wouldn't be able to go wrong no matter what position Guertin plays for them.
