Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Girls Basketball Players of the Week Poll.
High school sports fans can vote for which boys basketball player they think was a standout during the previous week.
The poll will be open through Tuesday. The winners will be announced every Wednesday along with the new poll.
Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week’s Players of the Week, scroll down on this page.
Cox won her first poll of the season with 50% of the votes. She led the way with 21 points for Barnstable in a 53-38 win over Dennis-Yarmouth.
Cox (12 points) had the steal and winning basket with eight seconds left for the Red Hawks as they beat Mashpee 47-46.
McCartin had an all around game of 10 points, 10 rebounds and three steals in a loss to Nantucket.
