MI, KKR, DC and LSG are likely to undergo changes at the IPL 2027 mini-auction
Teams like RCB, GT, RR and SRH, who qualified for the IPL 2026 playoffs, are likely to retain their core team ahead of the new season, however, teams who struggled in the 19th season could go through some major changes in the next mini-auction.
LSG captain Rishabh Pant has already stepped down from his role after the failure in the IPL 2026 campaign and thus the franchise is likely to go after a big name in the next auction to replace Pant as their new leader.
Teams like KKR, MI and DC will also see a change of guard in their ranks. There have been reports of Hardik Pandya leaving the MI captaincy and the all-rounder might also consider leaving the franchise altogether before the next mini-auction.
