No. Teams will still be as good and have more flexibility to get better. All we have is continuity.

The Suns could have won 50 games this past season if they hadn't forgotten how to play defense.

Why not be optimistic. Put be down for 46 or more wins.

As is, very much likely not. I guess there's always the unlikely possibility that Maluach and Fleming come firing out of the gate next year as vastly improved starter material, but realistically I expect Ott will still be overly cautious at implementing them into the lineup no matter what.

I really fully expect the Suns to make very little in the way of changes this offseason, and run back mostly the same roster, with the exact same philosophy they used last season. Then they will likely have to deal with the same problem keeping players healthy, while the rest of the league has figured out how to take advantage of their size issues. They seemingly always have to learn the hard way.

So much depends on other teams and moves they make. We have no idea what's going to happen. When I see what we do with the mid level exception, trades, draft, and free agent signings, then I can guess. If the Western Conference gets harder we could still win the same amount of games but be a higher seed.

This is a great poll idea, but we did it last year in August.

Our roster in May of 25 had very little in common to the roster a few months later as camp started.

Comparing this year's team to... this year's team... only next year?

At this point in time, a better question is if we trust that the front office is steering this team in the right direction...

The tunnel isn't as dark as I thought it would be be but it is still extremely long.

According to Ishbia, what you see is what you get. So base your decision on the current roster. Sure, if it changes a lot, do the poll again in August.

Why are you asking before any changes to the team have happened? This question is kind of pointless right now.

That's not really what he said. He said he prefers consistency unless something good comes along.

But I hear the Suns are trying to trade into the first, and also that they want to use the mid level, and might trade Mark Williams, Grayson and Royce.

But fine I will play along, if the exact same team came back next year we will win a few more games - mainly because I don't expect Jalen Green to be out the majority of the season.
