I think you're kidding yourself.

His contract made him immovable the last 2 years, even now it is still very prohibitive. This off season was the first time they might have been able to get off him but the available QBs out there would have led us to flushing another season as we wait for a rookie to develop or trot out Joe Flacco.

I disagree...it sounds damning out of context...but when a QB goes down, the OC changes the way he calls the game specifically to protect the ball...thats why you get fans all pissed when their backup QB doesnt pan out after he had gone years without a pick...during spot play they are protected...even when they get a chance to start for a while they are protected...short passes, screens..check downs...after they run the team a few games they OC starts opening up the playbook and thats when you start seeing these guys fail...start throwing 2 or 3 picks a game,,
so when you got a guy that has been in the league for years,...but has only really ever had spot play...his TD to INT ratio will look really good.
Versus a guy who has taken every snap for years

If you really believe that Murray's "touchdown to interception ratio for his career is outstanding", perhaps that explains your irrationally rabid defense of the guy. Or maybe you're just trolling?? Honest question.
