Will our QB finally turn the corner and respond well under pressure?
We know how you voted crimson!Need to make the votes public!![]()
At least that’s honest lol. Some on this board would rather see the Cardinals fail so that they can blame it on Murray. I’m hoping that Murray, for the first time in his career, has a defense that can give him some short fields, and that MHJ is what we thought he was when we drafted him. I’m as optimistic about the direction of this team as I’ve ever been. But, as we all know, fortune and fame with this organization always seems to elude us lol.We know how you voted crimson!
I want it to happen- just don’t believe in him to do it. Here’s to hoping I’m wrong

I liken it to good QB's who shrink in the playoffs. There have been many.I’d love to see it. But I just don’t see it. I’m not a Murray hater. But I just have a difficult time seeing a player in sixth season suddenly changing his spots. Particularly the the item that I believe is his primary issue: shrinks under the brightest light.
I harp on the lack of evidence regarding extra study. But that can be easily remedied by actually putting in a ton of off field film room. Would it translate to better execution? Who knows if the extra time would pay off, every players ability to process data at speed is different. But I figure it couldn’t hurt if he is (and I’ll admit we don’t if he is already) or did put in more time studying.
But the shrinking at the end of the season and in clinching or playoff games is not something you can just study away. It’s a character trait if rising to the occasion or not. And sadly I just don’t think Kyler has “it.” Is it a maturity thing? Can he mature into “it?” Maybe? But I think it’s doubtful. I’m struggling coming up with a comp for Kyler’s 5 years of failure in these scenarios all of suddenly growing into “it.”
So I just had to vote what I believe to be most likely verses what I want.
Manning lost his first 3 playoff games & he had HOF receivers and far more talent around him on both sides of the ball. Palmer won 1 playoff game in his career & we all know how fortunate we were for him to get that. Palmer was cursed like Murray has been for having to play with crappy organizations. Murray played his only playoff game with DHop injured and barely playing, a 3rd string OL, and a defense so banged up that it was a sieve.I liken it to good QB's who shrink in the playoffs. There have been many.
It just hits kyler sooner. My hope is the defense can drag him past it and once the damage is broken his inner competitor takes over.
For two recent and well known names that got past the issue just look to Peyton Manning and Carson Palmer
I think it's all in between his ears. He is so gifted athleticaly. I agree with you 100% on the study part (although it is all conjecture on my part). Film study, and lots of it is what he needs, imo.I’d love to see it. But I just don’t see it. I’m not a Murray hater. Imo with the revamped defense giving him more opportunities and some short fields we should see Kylers stats improve organically.I voted oh hell i dont know hehe but i truly hope kyler plays like a true num 1 draft qb this yr he has all the talent!!!!
Just hope kyler keeps mind focus nfl not vgames!!!!!
Clown post. No one on this board wants the Cardinals to lose.At least that’s honest lol. Some on this board would rather see the Cardinals fail so that they can blame it on Murray. I’m hoping that Murray, for the first time in his career, has a defense that can give him some short fields, and that MHJ is what we thought he was when we drafted him. Simply an ignorant statement. Do better. At least that’s honest lol. Some on this board would rather see the Cardinals fail so that they can blame it on Murray. Tell me you're a blind KM homer without saying it outright. It really informs your previous ignorant statement, too.Manning lost his first 3 playoff games & he had HOF receivers and far more talent around him on both sides of the ball. Palmer won 1 playoff game in his career & we all know how fortunate we were for him to get that. Palmer was cursed like Murray has been for having to play with crappy organizations. Cry more. Your attacking of fans and then crying at being attacked is one of the most tired bits on this board. How funny it is that the ones that attack me and call me ignorant are the ones that hate Murray the most. Haters are going to hate.
Peyton didn’t have it to the degree Kyler does. Peyton could win games to clinch playoff spots. A LOT of them. He just had a big playoff hurdle. And Palmer just played on a lot of lousy teams and the. Had injury issues upon reaching tge playoffs in semi-rare occasions.I liken it to good QB's who shrink in the playoffs. There have been many.

What’s tiring are the whiny cryers like yourself that are now on page 204 of a thread designed to bitch and moan about our franchise QB.Cry more. Your attacking of fans and then crying at being attacked is one of the most tired bits on this board.
Murray is the least of the reasons why this team has supposedly let you down.I became a fan in 1988 to hope that a QB who hadn’t even been born yet would let my favorite team down
